„If it is not my installations that are performing, I like to take the sounds into my own hands, move them and observe their behaviour in place, time and sociality. It is always a way of dealing with the acoustic, social and sudden activities and potentials of a place, using my tools and the found stimuli in situ.“

In my performances I work with an array of custom-built wind and percussion instruments, objects, and feedback manipulations. For this performances, I carefully and secretly prepare the concert space in advance with quasi-magic tricks, playful surprises, and a bucketful of absent sounds—setting the stage for a music that exists somewhere between miniature object theater, musical improvisation, and collective listening exercise, always marked by a simplicity of means and a deep sense of community.
