I am really looking forward to finally perform with my Schnarcharchiv (snoring archive) again. This collected and preserved fatigue will be distributed via loudspeakers and intensified by compositional and sonic means. I will bring some of my musictools to acompany the recordings.
You are cordially invited to come by and doze while the sleepiness goes round. You may mix realities, invent sounds and let your body grow soft and receptive for any auditory hallucination or perceptual exaggeration! Lights will be dim.

„Peter Strickmann’s Schnarcharchiv (since 2009) is a collection of preserved slumber and snoring sounds of sleeping people, animals and friends in different phases of sleep. The recordings were taken during day and night in busy and tired places such as tents, hotel rooms, trains and homes. It is a fieldrecording project, with which Peter Strickmann intends less a sober documentation of sleep, but uses the recordings to stimulate a physical listening under the influence of sleepiness during concerts, sound installations, or from audio-publications and streamigs.“
