I’ll perform at Hörbar in Hamburg as part of the Sonopol concert-series, invited by Felix Meyer and Roland Wendling. Sharing the night with the two french noisers Tzii and C_C. Looking forward.
Peter Strickmann
is a soundartist and performer using simple and sparse means to encourage and direct the activity of joint listening in various public-, concert- and domestic environments. He uses objects noise, costumbuilt wind and feedback techniques, focusing on the vibrant „Ding“ and its social, acoustic and theatrical feedback. Active with groups Spemakh, Pony und Reter, Narval, Planet Dance Ensemble. Cassette and vinyl releases were published by Rayon, meudiademorte, Ana Ott, SPAM, Stenze Quo.
Tzii
Since the 90’s Tzii, music composer and filmmaker, spreads his frequencies all over the world through touring from Eastern and Western Europe to Australia, passing by USA, Canada, Japan, Indonesia, Africa and South-East Asia, where he played hundreds of shows..… „A mountain of multiple figures“ as defined by Nyx … He created his own label NIGHT ON EARTH in 2001, releasing vinyls and tapes, and is a co-founder & active member of the label/collective V-ATAK. He explores infinite different worlds and expressions, from music to performance or collective creations. One thing always remains in his works : they’re impossible to fit in any box.
C_C
Inspired by radical dub, filthy jungle, shattered breakcore, and transe ceremonies in general, C_C has developed a deliberately rough and noisy approach to productionand live performance. Constantly testing the limits of his equipment (from effects processors to mixers and cassette players) at the edge of implosion, he invents the soundtrack of a post-nuclear world’s dancefloor; its palpitations, its electric whispers, its sonorous accidents. Dangerous improvisation and distorted pulses.
