solo water~wind~feedback ensemble

Totter Passel is a solo performance project by sound artist and performer Peter Strickmann, circling around the notion of invisible wind and down-to-earth wobble, supported by fluids and surprise.

A pneumatic instrument acts as the protagonist, employing a vocabulary of sequencer mimicri-patterns, fake synth-sounds and miniature water-percussion. It consists of a set of bent tubes, small ammounts of water and a constant stream of air and observation. The supporting roles play a performative feedback manipulation and various diy-windinstruments.

Totter Passel ist ein Solo-Performanceprojekt des Klangkünstlers Peter Strickmann, das unsichtbare Winde und bodenständiges Wackeln nutzt und provoziert.

Ein pneumatisches Instrument fungiert dabei als Protagonist der Band und singt mit einem Geräuschvokabular aus Sequenzer-Mimikry-Mustern, fake Synth-Sounds und Miniatur-Wasserperkussion. Das Instrument besteht aus diversen gebogenen Röhren, kleinen Wasserpfützen einem konstanten Luftstrom und vielzähligen Überraschungen. Die Nebenrollen spielen Feedbackmanipulationen und verschiedene DIY-Windinstrumente.
